If one result is found, a tax report displays after running a:
Tax search by Tax Identification Number, Address and/or Name, and Legal Description, or via Xpress Search.
Combination or Instrument search with Property and Tax Auto-Run chosen.
Otherwise, the tax report displays after choosing it from the Cross Reference list.
Several types of tax reports can return:
Current and Prior Year Tax Information and Tax Assessment Information images that display information from respective county Web sites via Xpress Search.
In non-Cook, IL, counties (CA, AZ, and CO) that support taxes:
Shortened Tax Report, which displays summarized tax information (and not information like delinquencies, bonds, redemption amounts, etc.). Shortened reports display for Non-Order Searches.
Complete Tax Report, which includes complete tax information.
In Cook, IL, Only:
Summary Tax Report, which displays summarized tax information (and not information like delinquencies, bonds, redemption amounts, etc.). This report is very similar to the Shortened Tax Report for non-Cook counties.
Full Tax Report, which displays complete tax information, including canned exception text.
The Tax Report Screen is divided into three portions:
Search Parameters, which show the parameters used for your search.
Recent Activity, which displays the order (if any) in which the currently viewed search is associated. The currently active search is highlighted.
Tax Search Results, which shows the tax search report.
Using functionality in Tax Search Results, Search Parameters, and Recent Activity screen portions, you can display results most appropriate to your orders. Additionally, you can adjust your Tax Search Preferences to also display results in a meaningful fashion.
