Name Search Parameters Fields and Controls

After Running a Name Search, Search Parameters displays showing the search parameters used in the currently viewed search. These are described in the table below.

Field/Control	Description
State and County	The state and county in which the name was searched.
Name and Match	The name searched and the Match percentage.
Name Start	A date certified by the plant to indicate that all of the recorded documents from this date forward are complete.
Name Cover	The plant date in effect at the time of the search. The plant date is the date through which the document postings are complete.
Hide/Show Details	Clicking the Hide/Show Details link hides or displays information listed below.
For TP Counties
Search Restrictions	Search restrictions chosen, such as From and Thru Dates choices, prominently display.
Name Variation	Alternate names that are searched when you type a given name. Each name is searched, with the Matching % applied to each search. You can choose to Hide or Display All names by clicking the appropriate link. Note: Name Search results yield records that occur from both spelling variations and nicknames when the Matching Percentage is less than 100%. Spelling variations that have not been explicitly identified as nicknames in the TitlePoint application do not display in Search Parameters.
Search Choices	Displays information regarding preference choices (such as whether you have chosen to Search for Bankrupcies in Another County).
From Date	A date entered into the search that limits search results to those instruments posted on or after the date. Also see Entering From and Thru Dates.
Searched	Date and time the search was performed.
Filters	Displays all of the filtered actions taken on the results. You can Undo Filtering Actions by clicking "X" next to the action of interest.
For TPX Counties
Applied Filters	Includes the list of Search Options (filters) applied to your search.
Name Variations	Includes the list of name variations used in the search. Clicking the Hide/Show link hides or displays the name variations.
Start	A date certified by the plant to indicate that all of the recorded documents from this date forward are complete.
Cover	The plant date in effect at the time of the search. The plant date is the date through which the document postings are complete.
Searched	Date and time the search was performed.
Modify Search Parameters	You can modify order and non-order search parameters to rerun your search, while choosing to keep or replace the original search. See Modifying Search Parameters for further information.
