Image Request List Fields and Parameters

When Running an Image Search the Image Request List displays with a variety of options. These are described in the table below.

Field/Control

Description

Image List Toolbar

The Results Toolbar contains buttons to provide quick access to specific functions. For some functions, you must first click a checkbox(es) in the Image List, and then choose a function. For example, before clicking Email Images, you must first choose the images to e-mail.

Open with iView

Opens the selected image using iView.

Before Opening Images with iView you must first click next to the image(s) of interest.

Print Images

Prints the selected images.

Before Printing Images from Image Request List you must first click next to the image(s) of interest.

Email

Clicking:

  • Email e-mails chosen images using your local e-mail client.

  • and choosing:

  • Email with Options displays the Email with Options Screen, which allows you to:

  • Include and rearrange the order of images.

  • Choose a TIFF (black and white or color) or PDF file type.

  • E-mail individual files or create one file combining all of the individual files.

Click Email to display the e-mail message.

Before e-mailing you must first click next to the images you want to e-mail.

Save

Clicking:

  • Save saves chosen images to your computer's default directory set in iPrint Preferences.

  • and Save with Options displays the Save with Options Screen, which allows you to:

  • Include and rearrange the order of images.

  • Choose a TIFF (black and white or color) or PDF file type.

  • Save individual files or create one file combining all of the individual files.

Click Save to save images.

Before saving you must first click next to the images you want to save.

Report Discrepancy

Clicking Report Discrepancy displays the Discrepancy Report Form for you to report document and posting errors.

Before Reporting a Discrepancy you must first click next to the instrument(s) of interest.

Add to Batch

Allows you to quickly create an image search batch and refresh the Image Search page for a new image batch.

Clicking Add to Batch displays the image search page pre-filled with the existing order number, company, department, title unit, state, and county so you can quickly run a new image search and simultaneously add it to the order. Remove Images

Removes selected images in the Image Request List.

Before removing you must first click in the Remove column next to the images you want to remove.

Header (and contents)

 

Checkbox

Click in one or more checkboxes (next to the image of interest) to initiate actions in the Image Request List Toolbar.

Clicking the checkbox in the column header checks all of the images.

Status

Displays Image Retrieval Statuses.

Image Printed/Viewed

Indicates whether an image has been viewed and/or printed.

Image Info

A number assigned to a particular instrument. Clicking this number displays the document's image in a QuickView window.

# of Pages

The number of pages for the instrument.

State/County

State and county associated with the instrument.

Copy Image Key

Allows one to copy the full image key for maintenance purposes.

Remove

Choosing Remove deletes the image from the Image Request List.

Report Discrepancy

Clicking Report Discrepancy displays the Discrepancy Report Form for you to report document and posting errors.
