About Retrieving Images

You can retrieve instrument and map images one of three ways by:

1. Using a one-off method (also referred to as QuickView), which displays an image in a separate window, but does not save image with the search. QuickView is used when:

• Clicking Inst No. in Search Results.

• Viewing Assessors' Maps from Cross Reference and Tax Report.

• Clicking View when Using Image Request List.

2. Search request, which allows you to retrieve one, many, or all images from search results using Retrieve Images in the Result Toolbar. This option saves images with your search. This is used when:

• Retrieving Images from Search Results.

• Retrieving Assessor's Maps from Cross Reference or Tax Report.

3. Running an Image Search, which allows you to retrieve one or more images using an image key.
