Image Retrieval Statuses

When you click a document image in the TitlePoint's Recent Activity, iView launches displaying all of the documents for that search/order in same hierarchical folder/file structure as shown in Recent Activity, including all of the documents' pages.

When you request a document(s) that is not immediately available from the image database, an ODS process initiates. In this process PI personnel attempt to find and scan the requested document(s) to create an image that can return to you. In the course of this process, there might be numerous status changes for the document, as PI investigates its availability. The system communicates these statuses to you by displaying the following icons:

Image Retrieved

Image is retrieved and available.

Retrieval In-process

Image is in the process of being retrieved.

Image Added to Order

Image is added to the order.

Best Copy Available

Image is retrieved.

 

Image is added to the order, but not yet retrieved.

ODS, Requested

Document request pending.

ODS, Delayed

Document ordered from county.

 

County requesting document from warehouse.

 

County requesting document from original customer.

ODS, Failed

Can indicate:

  • Document not on film.

  • Document does not exist. County never used document number.

  • County could not locate document.

  • Document number is ill-formed.

  • Duplicate request.

  • Invalid title company.

  • Invalid reel or blip.

Do Not Print

Indicates not to print a specific image page.

Error

Indicates an error, which can be the result of a network error, overload, timeout, etc.
